1. Computer Basics 

1.1 Introduction to Computer

Computer is an electronic machine which works upon the data. DATA means digits and characters related to some activity, some object or some fact. 

Computer accepts data through Input Unit, Process upon it and Produce meaningful information which is useful to making any kind of decision. 

DATA: Row fact and figures on which computer do the process is known as DATA. 

INFORMATION: After processing the data, the meaningful output comes from the computer on the base of which one can take important decisions is know as information.
